REGISTRATION & FEES: A completed Student Registration Form, Student Questionnaire and payment of a one time, non-refundable, $20.00 registration fee is required before instruction may begin. Families registering more than one student only pay one registration fee.

TUITION PAYMENT: Private lessons are $20.00 per half-hour lesson and $40.00 per one-hour lesson. Tuition is due on a monthly basis on the first lesson of each month. Penalty fees: $35.00 per returned check; $10.00 if tuition is not received by the second lesson of the month.

MAKE-UP LESSONS: All lessons cancelled by instructors will either be rescheduled, credited into the following month's tuition payment, or refunded. Two make-up lessons per semester are allowed for excused, advance-notice (48 hours, unless emergency) student absences. No other student absences will be rescheduled, credited, or refunded and the student will be charged for the missed lessons.

TARDINESS: Students who arrive late will not be guaranteed a full lesson time. A student who is late for half of their lesson will be considered absent.

INSTRUMENTS & SUPPLIES: Students are required to supply their own instruments. Amplifiers will be available for those who require them. Students are responsible for purchasing and bringing to each lesson the teaching materials assigned by their instructor.

PARKING & LOCATION: David Brown Music is located within a residential area and your consideration and cooperation is appreciated. Please use caution and a slow driving speed. Students may be dropped off at the street and should walk up the driveway, past the gate, to the studio and wait for their lesson in the waiting area. Please do not park in or block any driveways.

WITHDRAWALS/REFUNDS: Two week notice is required if lessons are discontinued. Prorated tuition refunds will be given for withdrawals prior to the third lesson of the month. No refunds will be given after the third lesson of the month.

STUDENT DISMISSAL: Student dismissal may occur due to: failure to pay tuition; persistent tardiness and/or absences; unacceptable attitude; lack of progress due to insufficient practice.
